Exploring Symbolism and Archetypes in Ancient Spiritual Tradition with Reginald Martin

Episode #19: Show Notes

Today I’m excited to share my conversation with Reginald Martin, a spiritual architect, metaphysician, and creator of Kametaphysics™. His work merges ancient Kemetic science with modern psychology, helping spiritually evolved leaders, creators, and visionaries reconstruct their inner architecture, transcend inherited limitations, and create life on their terms without guilt or shame.

In our talk, Reginald explains how he guides people through a process of identity resurrection, teaching them to live by universal law, rewrite subconscious programming, and access their soul’s original blueprint for power, peace, and purpose.

From Religion to Spiritual Reconstruction

Reginald grew up in Texas in a strict religious family. His early years, as he described, felt defined by rules about what not to do. Life, in that frame, meant living through limitations.

Later, he went to college, studied psychology and business, got married, and started a family. But after some years, his life took a turn—divorce, financial loss, depression, and the emotional rollercoaster of dating again.

During that season, he stumbled upon a resource that said it takes about five years to heal after divorce. Skeptical at first, he later realized the truth: it did take those years, and more, to recover. That healing journey, combined with his search for practical tools rather than lofty “word salad” theories, led him to create Kametaphysics™.

What is Kametaphysics™?

The word Ka comes from the ancient Kemetic system of prehistoric Egypt. Ka represents the life force or soul that resides in every person. Metaphysics is the study of spirituality beyond the physical.

Together, Kametaphysics™ is about tapping into your soul-level operating system. It’s the recognition that we are souls having a human experience—and that we can communicate with our soul self at any time.

As Reginald puts it, “Kametaphysics™ is about you developing you.”

Structure Without Dogma

Many people today are deconstructing from religion, yet find themselves without a way to reconstruct their beliefs.

Reginald teaches that spirituality needs structure without dogma. Dogma is like a box—you’re forced to fit inside it. Spirituality, on the other hand, gives you a foundation on which to build freely.

This distinction is powerful for teachers, leaders, and healers who are helping others move beyond old frameworks of brokenness. Instead of seeing people as inherently flawed, Kametaphysics™ begins with the truth that we are born divine.

Why Traditional Pastoral Counseling Falls Short

We also explored why traditional therapy and pastoral counseling often aren’t enough for deep spiritual struggles.

When people leave religion, they’re leaving behind an entire identity framework. Even if they reject its negativity, they still feel bound by its underlying belief system. For example, in Christianity, the idea of being “born a sinner” creates layers of unworthiness and brokenness.

Without a new frame to replace that identity, people stay stuck. Reginald explains that Kametaphysics™ shifts the frame completely: instead of being broken, you are divine but may be out of alignment. Healing, then, becomes a matter of realignment rather than repair.

Relationships & The Secret Sparked Research

Much of Reginald’s deep dive into spirituality began after divorce, when he noticed patterns in his dating life. Every relationship felt like the same lesson repeating. This realization pushed him inward, forcing him to examine himself as the common denominator.

Around that time, he encountered the movie The Secret. At first skeptical, he resonated with its core teaching that thoughts become things. Yet he wanted to know the origin of that idea. His search led him to the works of George G.M. James (Stolen Legacy) and the recognition that many of these principles came from ancient Egypt, the foundation for both Greek philosophy and, ultimately, Christianity.

This discovery launched years of research into Kemetic spirituality, archetypes, and esoteric wisdom.

Archetypes and the Bible: Hidden Layers of Meaning

One of the most fascinating aspects of our conversation was how biblical stories were originally understood as archetypes, not historical events. For example:

  • Horus (Heru) in Egyptian myth, often depicted with a falcon head, represents the higher self and the “aha” moment.

  • The primordial light called IUSA {pronounced “Yay-ooh-suh”}  in Kemet became Yeshua in Hebrew, which later became Jesus. Jesus, then, is an archetype of divine light and awakening within us.

Even biblical miracles, like Jesus walking on water, can be seen as symbolic. Water represents emotions. Walking on water means rising above emotional turbulence through spiritual awakening.

Numerology, Astrology, and Esoteric Frameworks

Reginald also shared how numerology and astrology intertwine with these archetypes. In numerology, the universe operates on numbers. For example, Jesus’ “missing years” from age 12 to 30 may represent a spiritual elevation through the numbers 1+2=3 and 3+0=3. Looking through the lens of astrology, we find the 12 disciples may mirror the 12 zodiac signs. Reginald explained how stories like the crucifixion may align with natural cycles such as the solstice, symbolizing the soul’s journey through darkness into rebirth. He shared his belief that crucifixion itself represents forgetting we are souls, while resurrection means remembering our true divine nature.

Esoteric Christianity and Lost Texts

We discussed the Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hammadi Library, and how many texts with non-dogmatic teachings were excluded from the Bible. These writings often framed spirituality as archetypes and coded symbolism rather than rigid doctrine.

Ancient languages and symbols carried layers of meaning—something we’ve largely lost today. Hieroglyphics, archetypal gods, and symbolic animals all pointed to deeper truths about human consciousness and the soul’s journey.

Remembering Our Divinity

Throughout our conversation, Reginald returned to one central truth:Christianity introduced many new dogmas, but what was new was not true. What is true is not new– it’s as old as time itself.

Across spiritual systems, we find the same foundational truths: we are souls having a human experience, and our task is to remember our divinity.

Final Reflections

As we wrapped up, Reginald acknowledged the challenges of sharing this knowledge in a culture where questioning traditional beliefs can still be controversial. Yet conversations like these, shared through podcasts, word of mouth, and open-minded communities, are vital for keeping this wisdom alive.

For me personally, I love noticing the overlaps between what different teachers and traditions say. When I hear the same truth from multiple sources, even if it’s worded differently, I know I’m on the right path. I remain open to exploring new ideas, respecting varied perspectives, and continuing to ask questions.
