What Om WOW Is All About

The Om WOW Podcast is your sanctuary for soulful self-help, spirituality, and holistic happiness. Each Tuesday, I release a new episode designed to support your wellness journey. You’ll hear from expert guests, uncover new healing tools, and explore perspectives that might just surprise you.

My goal is to help you feel empowered, encouraged, and connected—because true wellness touches every part of your being, including your subconscious and your soul.

The Winding Road to Wellness

Though I’ve always been drawn to wellness, it didn’t become a clear path until later in life. For decades, it felt like I was wandering—sometimes forward, sometimes backward, often stuck. I read personal development books by Tony Robbins and Jack Canfield, soaking up every ounce of knowledge I could.

Eventually, this curiosity turned into purpose.

I became a certified wellness and success coach with credentials in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Reiki, and more. I’ve studied Qigong, vibration and energy work, and natural health. I also trained extensively with Jack Canfield and became an authorized Canfield Success Principles trainer.

Who I Am (And Who I’m Not)

I’m not the airbrushed, perfect-looking kind of coach. I’m a real woman who’s easy to talk to— at least, that’s what people tell me! I’ve lived a full, imperfect life as a mom, wife, entrepreneur, researcher, and student of the soul.

I’m over 50, happily married to my high school sweetheart, and the proud mom of two grown children. I share my world with our beloved dog, Maddie, 7 chickens, 4 bee colonies, and a wild free range zoo of squirrels, birds, bunnies, foxes, and even the occasional black bear in our back yard.

Entrepreneurship has been in my blood since college, and I’ve never looked back.

A quick note: You’ll notice I rarely say “I am” followed by any labels. That’s intentional. I believe “I am” is sacred and tied to the divine within us all.

The Trap of Goal-Setting Without Progress

For years, I did all the right things: setting goals, writing affirmations, crafting vision boards. But somehow, I never made real progress. Life always seemed to get in the way. One major insight? My goal list was too long. Even though every item felt important, I had to learn to prioritize and get real about what I could actually take on.

After years of chasing goals without results, I found Jack Canfield’s Success Principles and became a certified trainer. Over time, I’ve tweaked how I use some of his principles, especially in light of what I’ve learned about language and the subconscious.

Journaling: A Simple Tool with Profound Power

One of the most powerful tools I recommend is handwritten journaling. Not typing—writing with a pen or stylus. Capture your thoughts in raw, unfiltered form, especially during emotional moments. This process can unlock insights and healing that might surprise you.

Why does it work? It could be your subconscious, your higher self, your angels, or God. But the why matters less than the result. It works. Period. [See Episode #53 for a deep dive on Journaling!]

Living My Mission: To Make Others Feel Worthy

I only recently put words to my mission in life: to make others feel worthy. It’s simple, quiet, and has always been part of who I am.

Sometimes, our mission isn’t some big, flashy achievement. Sometimes, it’s speaking up, smiling at someone who feels invisible, or making eye contact with the woman cleaning a rest stop bathroom and sincerely thanking her. Those little things? They matter. They could be  your mission.

Speak Up: The Power of Living Authentically

I’ve always had a strong urge to speak up when something feels wrong, even before I was in the self-help space. From challenging wasteful retail practices to comforting a waitress after a cruel customer insulted her, I’ve learned that being true to yourself sometimes means breaking silence.

Your mission might simply be to say what needs to be said. Once.

Faith, Oneness, and Spiritual Connection

I grew up identifying as a Christian and still love God and Jesus deeply. But I no longer place that love inside the box of any religion. This podcast covers oneness and connection, and it’s not associated with any religion.

The “O” in “WOW” of our name symbolizes oneness: the awareness that we are all connected. People, animals, nature—we’re part of the same whole. Practicing kindness, compassion, and unity consciousness is how we can heal ourselves and the world around us.

Frustrations That Led Me to Natural Healing

My health journey was riddled with frustration. Misdiagnosed thyroid issues, delayed back surgery, ignored gallbladder attacks…I felt let down by traditional medicine time and again.

Eventually, I turned to alternative healing. Reiki. Tapping. Sound and light therapy. Chiropractic care. Holistic nutrition. I found relief, and more importantly, I found empowerment.

In 2024, a torn meniscus almost took away my mobility. After limited help from traditional methods, I found healing through fascia-focused personal training at a local gym. My trainer, Mariana helped me strengthen and realign this body that I love!

12 Mindset Shifts to Jumpstart Your Wellness Journey

These 12 ideas are your starting point. You’ll hear more about each one in upcoming podcast episodes:

  1. Open your mind, even just a crack.

  2. Ask questions. Lots of them.

  3. Think for yourself. Don’t blindly trust popular narratives.

  4. Test things firsthand. Your experience matters.

  5. Trust your gut and body. Always.

  6. Seek diverse sources. Truly diverse—not just connected variations.

  7. Honor all emotions. Even the hard ones.

  8. Reevaluate old beliefs. Be open to change.

  9. Write by hand. Journaling reveals truth.

  10. Look at your mission differently. You may already be living it out!

  11. Drop the labels. You are more than any one identity.

  12. Don’t chase perfection. Authenticity beats polish every time.

Let’s Walk This Path Together

It took me three recordings to get this first episode together, and then I still had to chop and rearrange them. That’s real life, not a fake-perfect life.

If any of this resonated with you, I’d love for you to subscribe, come back every Tuesday, and share this show with someone you care about. Until next time, be kind to yourself. You are worthy.

Meet Our Host: Jennifer Robin O’Keefe

Jennifer Robin is always searching for the next thing that might help: the book, the practice, the reframe you didn't know existed but turns out to be exactly what you needed.

Through conversations with experts, authors, and everyday humans, along with personal reflection, Jennifer focuses on bridging the gap between "woo" and practical, accessible self-support. Her work is rooted in the belief that wellness is not about fixing yourself, but about remembering your worth and finding what genuinely works for you.

She has spent decades exploring personal growth, energy healing, and mind-body wellness. She's trained in EFT Tapping and coaching, tools she often references in her conversations. She's not positioning herself as an expert who has it all figured out. She approaches her work with humility, curiosity, and deep respect for individual experience.

Jennifer is a lifelong learner who cherishes books and notebooks. She loves diving into research and sharing what she learns in a way that feels relatable, compassionate, and pressure-free. These conversations are an invitation: to ask your own questions, gather perspectives that resonate, and build a life that actually feels good to you.
